About Me!
Introduction:
Hello! I’m Ethel, an aspiring filmmaker with a passion for editing and a deep commitment to bringing storytelling to life through visual creativity.
My work spans a variety of genres and styles, which has greatly enriched my ability to craft dynamic and compelling visual narratives. Recently, I’ve focused on editing dance covers, including a personal project called "Project E" – a live dance cover series where I explore colour grading, keyframing, animation, and, of course, the art of dance itself.
With over five years of editing experience and a degree in Film Production, I work as a freelance video editor, always seeking opportunities to collaborate with creative talents and bring their visions to life. Through my work, I aim to create an inclusive platform where all creators are treated with respect and given the space to have their ideas fully realised. One of my initiatives, Project e:xperimentation & dance, is designed to nurture this creative exchange.
Why did I choose Film Editing?
I’ve always been captivated by the power of visuals, but it’s storytelling that fuels my passion. Whether shaping a narrative through film or engaging with people to understand their stories, I thrive on the connection that good storytelling creates between content and audience. This drive is what inspires me to continuously refine my craft and push my creative limits.
As I progress in my career, I am eager to expand my knowledge and gain further hands-on experience in the industry. I am excited to collaborate with other professionals, face new challenges, and contribute to innovative projects that leave a lasting impact.
